We are pleased to welcome Jason Evance to Ridgefield Christian as our new Campus Safety & Security Officer (CSSO)!
Jason says, "I am incredibly honored and excited to join the Ridgefield Christian School family as CSSO & Coach. Having grown up as a pastor’s son, serving in the local church my entire life, and now serving as an Administrative Pastor, I have a passion for investing in the next generation. Coaching has never just been about the sport for me. It’s about building relationships, developing character, and helping young people become who God has created them to be. My prayer is that every athlete who comes through our program grows not only as an athlete, but as a leader, a servant, and a follower of Christ.
My wife, Skyler, and I have been married for 19 years, and we are blessed with two amazing boys, Paxton and Ryder. As a husband and father, I understand the trust families place in a coach, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’m excited to invest in our student-athletes, build a culture of excellence, and partner with parents, teachers, and our community as we pursue success in the classroom, on the court, and most importantly, in our walk with God.
I can’t wait to see all that God has in store for Ridgefield this year.

Our teachers traded summer routines for a time of learning, laughter, fellowship, and discipleship at the Herzog Foundation sponsored Summit Ministries Biblical Worldview Conference! 💚💛 At Ridgefield Christian School, biblical worldview is not just something we add to education — it is the foundation of everything we do. We are grateful for teachers who continually seek to grow so they can better equip our Warriors to think deeply, love boldly, serve faithfully, and see every part of life through the truth of God’s Word. Two days of training. Countless conversations. A renewed passion for raising up the next generation of Christ followers. Thank you RCS staff for your dedication. Thank you also to Herzog Foundation and Summit Ministries for investing in Christian educators and helping us continue the mission of providing Christ-centered education rooted in truth. “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. Outside of the classroom, you can find me shootin' hoops, playing music, cooking, or spending time with my family. Colossians 3:23"
